Jam Session at the Jazz Institut Berlin
The students present the work of the semester.
Under the admission of Prof. Céline Rudolph and Prof. Michael Schiefel.
„I am discovering the music as I do it“ – Paul Motian
Each musician has their own style, each ensemble has its own sound and their own playing is constantly being reflected and developed. From 7:00 pm pm onwards, the bands of the JIB will be on stage in the Georg Neumann Saal on three days and will present their work, which they have developed and consolidated in the course of the semester. Formations of different sizes and instrumentations will be on stage. The programme traditionally ranges from classical jazz to Latin, modern jazz and free improvisation. The focus is also on the students' own compositions.
You can also follow all concerts in the Georg-Neumann-Saal online at the following link: https://stream.medienhaus.udk-berlin.de/g-n-s
