Scope

This data protection declaration clarifies users about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by

on this website (hereafter “JIB”).

The JIB takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We process personal data that is collected when you visit our website in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. Your data will neither be published nor passed on to third parties without authorization. In the following we explain what data we collect during your visit to our website and how exactly it is used.

Responsible body

Responsible body is the natural or legal person who, alone or together with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses, etc.).

The responsible body for data processing on this website is:

Data protection officer

Johannes Bockolt

Data collection and processing

Access data is saved in a log file every time a page is called up. The data record saved contains the following data:

  • Your IP address, which uniquely identifies your computer
  • the remote host (name and IP address of the machine requesting the page),
  • the time, the status, the amount of data transferred and the website from which you came to the requested page (referrer),
  • as well as the product and version information of the browser used (user agent).

The JIB uses the protocol data (logs) anonymously, i.e. without assignment or reference to your person, for statistical evaluations. The JIB can thus find out, for example, on which days and at what times the websites are used particularly intensively, which pages are accessed particularly frequently and whether errors occur. The page views and usage stored in the log files are not linked to individual persons. This data is processed for the purpose of enabling use of the website (establishing a connection), system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and optimization of the Internet offer.

The IP address is only evaluated in the case of attacks on the network infrastructure of the JIB. Beyond the cases mentioned above, personal data will not be processed unless you expressly consent to further processing.

Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies used are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for certain cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you want are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Analysis tools, newsletters, third-party providers

Analysis Tools

The website uses Matomo, an open source software for the analysis and statistical evaluation of visitor access.

Matomo is used in the so-called cookie-free variant. Access to our website is recorded and evaluated anonymously without the use of tracking cookies. For the integration of Matomo, however, it is necessary that the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to Matomo. The IP address is anonymised immediately after it is collected and before it is stored. No further processing of personal data therefore takes place when Matomo is used.

Newsletters

If you subscribe to our newsletter, the data in the registration form will be sent to the person responsible for processing. Registration for our newsletter takes place using the double opt-in procedure. After registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that nobody can register with someone else's e-mail address. When registering for the newsletter, the IP address of the user and the date and time of registration are saved. This serves to prevent misuse of the services or the e-mail address of the person concerned. The data will not be passed on to third parties. There is an exception if there is a legal obligation to pass it on. The data will only be used to send the newsletter. The subscription to the newsletter can be canceled by the data subject at any time. Likewise, the consent to the storage of personal data can be revoked at any time. For this purpose, there is a corresponding link in every newsletter, as well as the option to unsubscribe on our website.

Third Party - Youtube

To protect your personal data, we have blocked Youtube until you want to play a video (click on video). By playing the videos, you expressly agree to the data processing of your personal data by Youtube. Learn more

While playing YouTube videos, it is possible that YouTube will set cookies on your system in accordance with YouTube's data protection declaration. The JIB tries to prevent this within the scope of the technical possibilities, but cannot guarantee it.

External links

Our offer contains links to external third-party websites, the content of which the JIB has no influence on. No liability is assumed for the content of the linked pages; the respective provider or operator of the page is always responsible (see disclaimer).

Contact us

When contacting the JIB (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), the details of the user are stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise.

Changes, Corrections and Updates

The user has the right to request information about the personal data stored about him free of charge. In addition, the user has the right to correct incorrect data, blocking and deletion of his personal data, provided there is no legal obligation to retain it.
